Here you will find a basic description of the different packages we offer for training horses in the Gallatin County and surrounding areas.
Remember, we think of every one horse as an individual, as we do each person and both that come to us have a unique problem that we can help to resolve! This means that ALL packages can be tailored to fit YOU and YOUR HORSE(S) specific needs!
We specialize in western pleasure, ranch and rodeo training. We can work with trail, hunting and packing horses too but unfortunately we do not offer some specific equestrian training i.e. show jumping, English saddle etc. Although B.J. is a trainer for horse problems in general and can train specifically for ranch, trails, hunting and roping.

If we feel our program doesn't fit your needs, we will refer you to someone that can provide you with the training that you and your horse need.

| Basic Hourly | This is a 1 hour session with your horse for that extra help you may need without the full 30 days - focusing on whatever you want for your horses needs! For an extra $5 we can work with you at the same time! (If you need multiple hours and would like to board your horse here, boarding fees WILL BE EXTRA!) | $30-35 |
| Basic 30 days | Unbroke Horses: This 30 day basic training schedule will get your horse green broke. At the end of these 30 days, your horse should be able to stand while groomed, saddled and mounted, rode out by themselves, cross water and downed timber, be good with having their feet handled and load into the trailer comfortably. They will know how to turn around their front and hind end, back up, give to the bit and leg cues, be comfortable with loud and scary noises such as blowing tarps and snapping twigs etc., be comfortable with a rope and dragging items. Some horses will take more groundwork than others to get them safe and comfortable with each new obstacle. Having said that, some horses will be calmer and more trained at the end of 30 days than others as each is an individual! Broke and Started Horses: We will also take your started or trained horse for 30 days. This training will be completely tailor made for you and your horse. We will train them for your specific needs and/or work with correcting undesirable habits and behaviors that you would like resolved. This package includes boarding fees. If your horse requires special feed, you will need to supply us with that. | $800 multiple horses will recieve a $50 per horse discount! |
Foal / Weanling Training | We will teach your colt things like how to lead, have their feet worked with, stand tied and load into the trailer comfortably. They will be de-sensitized to loud and scary noises/objects such as tarps and ropes around their feet and just generally lots of human interaction. Or maybe your colt already has some of this training but needs work on specific issues that you are having. Let us know and we will set up a specific training strategy for you and your colt. We will also come to you to work with colts that have not been weaned. The fee schedule for this will vary depending on traveling distance and the number of colts you have to work with. Give us a call and we will work out a deal! The 10 day package includes boarding fees. If your colt requires special feed, you will need to supply us with that. | $30-$35 hourly or $275 for 10 day period |
'Tune Up' 15 days training | This is great for your started and broke horses, that may have been laid off for a while or you have a specific issue you need help ironing out. This is includes board, if you require special feed you need us to supply us with that but we will happily feed it for no extra charge! | $450 |
60 Day start to a good finish training | This is is for unbroke horses or horses with 'issues' you want ironing out, it is the same as 30 days just double and at a discount with savings for you! This is includes board, if you require special feed you need us to supply us with that but we will happily feed it for no extra charge! | $1500 |
We can also offer discounts to horse ranches and / or people with a larger quantity of horses that they need trained.
Boarding fee's are $7 per day - this includes hay, grain and mineral blocks required during training.
